Talk:Contest Control System Requirements

From ICPC-Contest Control Standard

Under Contest Time

2nd paragraph: I think that the phrase "teams cannot submit" should be changed to "the CCS will not accept submissions (runs or clars)" because a CCS may stop the submission on its server rather than stop it on a client (web submission page). The important thing is that the CCS does not accept submissions when the clock is stopped. -- Doug

Why wouldn't teams be allowed to submit clars when the contest is stopped? Niemela 15:34, 14 December 2010 (CET)
Could there be an advantage if a clar were answered then judges broadcast to all teams, but only the submitting team knows to check the answer? Douglas Lane 02:20, 15 December 2010 (CET)

Sample command lines for the submit script used by the test harness
<command> -p a -u team1 -w pass1 -d runs002/ -m hello.c
<command> -p h -u team1 -w pass1 -d runs104/ -m solutions.c
<command> -p b -u team1 -w pass1 -d runs241
